| PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: Open porch with hip roof in left bay. Porch has a concrete block foundation and is supported by wrought iron posts and balustrade. The entrance to the porch is from the south side. The entrance to the house has a divided glass door flanked by divided glass sidelights. There is a window in the right bay on the first story and a window in each bay on the second story. These windows are rectangular, double-hung, there-over-one. There is a chimney on the high left roof slope and an art glass window on the second story towards the facade on the south side of the house. The southwest corner of the house has a garage below grade. Above the garage is an enclosed porch with shed roof.PROPERTY HISTORY: Maple Oak Investment Co. sold this lot to William A. Seimer in 1922 for $750. Seimer, along with Wm. A. and Addie Long is identified as residing at this address in a 1922 directory. Prior to 1922 Siemer lived at 221 St. Louis. |
